After Radical Minneapolis’ City Counsel Votes To Defund Police, We Learn Their Secret, 3 of The Most Radical ‘Defund’ Leaders Have City Paying For Their Private Security Guards

Lawrence David| Opinion| The three council members, Andrea Jenkins (Ward 8), Phillipe Cunningham (Ward 4), and Alondra Cano (Ward 9) have been outspoken proponents of defunding the Minneapolis Police Department.

We owe them a debt of gratitude.  Not because they succeeded in the council’s vote to disband the MPD, but because they have given rational thinking Americas a vision of life under the authoritarian control of the radical left wing, who in many cases, appear to me to be Marxists.

Their bombastic rhetoric was part of a larger effort by the increasingly more significant radical left’s influence in today’s Democratic Party.

While looting, property destruction, cultural annihilation, physical assaults, and arson are being exercised against all that the majority of Americans hold dear, the Minneapolis city council led a successful charge to vote to defund the police.

Now, as the citizens they were elected to protect have been left exposed to future waves of politically directed violence, we see how three Marxist agitators on the city council have acted to protect themselves…

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – The City of Minneapolis is spending $4,500 a day for private security for three council members who [claim to] have received threats following the police killing of George Floyd, FOX 9 has learned.

A city spokesperson said the private security details have cost the city $63,000 over the past three weeks.

The three council members who have the security detail – Andrea Jenkins (Ward 8), Phillipe Cunningham (Ward 4), and Alondra Cano (Ward 9)– have been outspoken proponents of defunding the Minneapolis Police Department.

Council members Jenkins, Cunningham, Cano moved The Minneapolis City Council to unanimously approve a proposal to eliminate the city’s police department on Friday.

The council then began steps toward establishing a new approach towards public safety.  An approach that the motivating agitators don’t believe to be sufficient to protect them.

What is good for thee, isn’t good enough for me… Live with that.
