Just Like, Our Opinion, Man: Patriot, E – From where I sit, this one is as transparent as the Deep S*** war against President Trump gets.
(Washington Post) – A whistleblower complaint about President Trump made by an intelligence official centers on Ukraine, according to two people familiar with the matter, which has set off a struggle between Congress and the executive branch.
The complaint involved communications with a foreign leader and a “promise” that Trump made, which was so alarming that a U.S. intelligence official who had worked at the White House went to the inspector general of the intelligence community, two former U.S. officials said.
That call is already under investigation by House Democrats who are examining whether Trump and his attorney Rudolph W. Giuliani sought to manipulate the Ukrainian government into helping Trump’s reelection campaign. Lawmakers have demanded a full transcript and a list of participants on the call.
Always have to respect those unnamed sources, eh?
Let’s examine the background that prompted President Trump’s conversation.
Five months ago we reported that, when he was Obama’s vice president, Joe Biden seemingly leveraged his influence with the Ukraine to first enrich his son, Hunter, and then to apparently and allegedly obstruct the investigation into his corrupt influence and that this would tank his presidential run.
The overriding reason was his stupidity in bragging about doing this in front of cameras.
Biden openly admitted that he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko with pulling $1 Billion in loan guarantees if he didn’t fire Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin at the CFR of all place, imagine our shock.
“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’”
“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.
Why did Biden want Shokin removed? Hold onto your hat.
The prosecutor was leading a wide-ranging corruption investigation into a natural gas firm, Burisma Holdings. Biden’s son, Hunter, was being paid to sit on the board of directors of Burisma Holdings despite reportedly having little to no qualifications in the industry.
John Solomon reported on the financial windfall Hunter Biden received from Burisma:
But Ukrainian officials tell me there was one crucial piece of information that Biden must have known but didn’t mention to his audience: The prosecutor he got fired was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings that employed Biden’s younger son, Hunter, as a board member.
U.S. banking records show Hunter Biden’s American-based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, received regular transfers into one of its accounts — usually more than $166,000 a month — from Burisma from spring 2014 through fall 2015, during a period when Vice President Biden was the main U.S. official dealing with Ukraine and its tense relations with Russia.
The video, seems to me, to provide prima facie evidence of Biden admitting that he bribed the President of Ukraine:
Giuliani appeared with Laura Ingraham last night to explain (fast forward to the 17:19 mark)
Giuliani explains that the crime of bribery is established when someone offers a thing of value in exchange for something else of value.
In Biden’s case, the favor (a billion dollar loan guarantee) was made in exchange for political influence (the firing of the prosecutor investigation Burisma and his son). And the former VP actually brags about it with cameras recording his apparent admission of his wrong doing.
The emergence of a “whistleblower” at this time now looks like a coordinated effort by the usual Deep S**** suspects (Lawfare) to protect the candidacy of Joe Biden by making an investigation politically untenable.
You can’t make this s**t up @RepAdamSchiff @RepCummings @RepEliotEngel have opened THREE investigations into @realDonaldTrump @RudyGiuliani for conspiring with UKRAINE for favorable election results https://t.co/riuyMG8JmPhttps://t.co/zsQV0KipqBhttps://t.co/yIvb6bvGWc pic.twitter.com/WndhmIJplK

With three, count ‘em three, congressional investigations being opened, it appears the same effort by Trump’s political enemies to rely on their media allies by recycling the obstruction of justice argument, is now being employed.
As 2020 approaches, there really does appear to be a growing level of desperation among Trump’s Deep state enemies.

We can only hope that Biden wins the primary and can stay out of irons long enough to get clobbered by Trump in 2020. No wonder they are all so scared of the man …
