It looks like Trump’s decision to tell the debate commission to … go scratch, was the right call as the truth about the hack who was scheduled to moderate the 2nd debate (read: tag team Trump with Biden) was just exposed in a heap of lies and shame.  Unfortunately, this is nothing new for Democrats.

When caught doing something awful, be it unethical, illegal or nefarious in anyway, the go to excuse for the left is to claim they were ‘hacked.’  One needs to look no further than when Joy Reid’s old blog posts which were littered with homophobic and ‘non-woke’ statements surfaced, the Democrat pundit immediately claimed that she was ‘hacked.‘  Even CNN Business was doubtful publishing a piece entitled ‘Why MSNBC host Joy Reid’s hacking claims don’t add up.’

Then there was Paul Krugman.  The ‘economist’ who famously once predicted that the internet would have the same level of effect on the economy as the fax machine and his bizarre, preemptive tweet.  The Hill reported on the incident with an article entitled ‘Paul Krugman: My computer was hacked to ‘download child pornography’.’  I have not heard the truth of this matter, but who Tweets that they ‘hacked’ to have child porn put on their computer?  It doesn’t pass the smell test IMHO.

I could go on and on, but in the spirit of brevity, let us skip right to the man of the hour, CSPAN’s Steven Scully.

Just like the rest of his leftist friends as soon as he got caught being unethical, he threw out the age old excuse ‘I was hacked.’  Just like most of the liars before him, Sully is now exposed.

Breitbart is reporting:  C-SPAN suspended its political editor Steve Scully indefinitely Thursday after he admitted to lying about his Twitter feed being hacked when he was confronted about a questionable exchange with former Trump aide Anthony Scaramucci.

The news came on the day of what was supposed to be a career highlight for the 30-year C-SPAN veteran. Scully was to moderate the second debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden, which was canceled after Trump would not agree to a virtual format because of his COVID-19 diagnosis.

A week ago, after Trump had criticized him as a “never Trumper,” Scully tweeted “@Scaramucci should I respond to Trump.” Scaramucci, a former Trump communications director and now a critic of the president, advised Scully to ignore him.

Scully said that when he saw his tweet had created a controversy, “I falsely claimed that my Twitter account had been hacked.”

He had been frustrated by Trump’s comments and several weeks of criticism on social media and conservative news outlets about his role as moderator, including attacks directed at his family, he said.

“These were both errors in judgement for which I am totally responsible for,” Scully said. “I apologize.”

Even when the Democrats try to rig an event they fail.  IMHO, one needs to look no further than HRC to know that.  Scully was once an intern for Joe Biden.  Not only was he an intern for Biden. Even Newsweek admits Scully also once tweeted during the 2016 election a link to a Times op-ed: “No, Not Trump, Not Ever.” He served as a back-up moderator for all of the fall debates that year.’

The moral of the story is that the establishment just can not help themselves.  They have completely uncloaked and are not even trying to hide their distain for Trump and willingness to put their finger on the scale to force him from office.  Unfortunalty for them, the American people aren’t half as dumb as the ‘elite’ like to think we are.
