Furious, President Trump Calls Out Corrupt FBI & It’s Do Nothing, DS Dir Wray, On Twitter: “Are These ‘Dirty Cops’ Going To Pay …?’

Opinion| Lawrence David| The stench emanating from FBI Headquarters from years of abusing the FISA process continues getting more rancid by the day.  It’s as though the Fourth Amendment has no application to the “elite” men and women of the FBI.

Despite all of our hopes following the firing of Jim Comey, under President Trump’s appointed director, Christopher Wray, the Constitution continues to be shredded.

In late Spring 2018 Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded “that we did not have confidence that Strzok’s decision was free from bias.”

FBI Director Wray had a different take:

“I take these findings seriously, and we accept these findings and recommendations.” … “This report did not find any evidence of political bias or improper considerations actually impacting the investigation under review.”

Wray, despite claiming there was no evidence of bias, proceeded to order bias training for all FBI agents.

Fast forward eighteen months with all that has been learned about the corruption that consumed, and continues to consume his FBI as identified and outlined by the latest report from IG Horowitz…

(Daily Caller) FBI Director Christopher Wray told the federal surveillance court in a letter Friday that he “deeply regrets” the bureau’s many errors in the process to obtain surveillance warrants on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

“The FBI has the utmost respect for this Court, and deeply regrets the errors and omissions identified by the OIG,” Wray wrote in a letter to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC)…

The IG report, released on Dec. 9, identified 17 errors and omissions that the FBI made in its Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) applications against Page. The report said FBI agents withheld information that undercut the bureau’s suspicion that Page worked as an agent of Russia while he served on the Trump team. Agents also failed to disclose information that raised questions about the credibility and motives of Christopher Steele, a former British spy Democrats hired b[y Fusion GPS and paid for by the DNC and the Clinton campaign] to investigate President Donald Trump.

… and Wray issues an apology?

Nothing ever changes.  A few words of mea culpa and on we go…

These ‘errors and omissions’ weren’t committed by poorly trained field agents.  They were committed by the Bureau’s most elite personnel deliberately in furtherance of a plan to remove a duly elected POTUS.

And they ignored all Constitutional guardrails in the effort.  Director Wray’s regrets doesn’t cut it.

FUBAR!!!
