OPINION| If you are reading this on Facebook, which the few of you who still see our posts likely are, perhaps you saw the leftist activists who hold themselves out to be ‘fact checkers’ (our modern day thought police) flagging these statements by Representative McCarthy as false.
What a scam—Speaker Pelosi held up the vote on coronavirus funding so that her campaign team could run ads against Republicans for Super Tuesday.

Now, I was not there and I do not know what happened, so let’s assume Poitifact is right and this did not happen … even though their statement does not illicit much confidence:
‘It’s true that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the official campaign arm of House Democrats, released ads related to the coronavirus in seven Republican districts.
But when McCarthy made the comments, he and other Republicans were participating in negotiations about the package. There is no indication that Pelosi deliberately held up the bill for the sake of the ad campaign.’
She was not holding it up, she was ‘negotiating’.
That is the official story from the arbiters of truth over at politifact, and if we want to take the Congressman’s word for it, Facebook will crush out ability to reach the fans we purchased from them.
Now that we know ‘there is no indication’ that Pelosi deliberately held up the bill … to run an ad campaign … what about other the CV stimulus bill?
Well, if you trust The Daily Caller (another one of Facebook’s ‘fact checkers’):
‘House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sought to include a potential way to guarantee federal funding for abortion into the coronavirus economic stimulus plan, according to multiple senior White House officials.
Speaking to the Daily Caller, those officials alleged that while negotiating the stimulus with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, Pelosi tried to lobby for “several” provisions that stalled bipartisan commitment to the effort. One was a mandate for up to $1 billion to reimburse laboratory claims, which White House officials say would set a precedent of health spending without protections outlined in the Hyde Amendment.
“A new mandatory funding stream that does not have Hyde protections would be unprecedented,” one White House official explained. “Under the guise of protecting people, Speaker Pelosi is working to make sure taxpayer dollars are spent covering abortion — which is not only backwards, but goes against historical norms.”
A second White House official referred to the provision as a “slush fund” and yet another questioned “what the Hyde Amendment and abortion have to do with protecting Americans from coronavirus?”’
While I am not one to put much faith in anonymous sources, this does seem to fit Pelosi’s MO of doing anything and everything she can to score political points and further her own personal agenda. To be clear, we are not sayin this happened, we are reporting on what the DC said their sources told them happened. Don’t fact check me bro.
The DC went on to claim:
Pelosi pushed back on that suggestion during her Thursday press conference.’
Now, we will need to wait and hear from the thought cops before we know the ‘truth’, but Pelosi is quoted by the Daily Caller as having said:
“Families have needs.”
“We don’t need 48 hours. We need to just make a decision to help families right now.”
“I’m not sticking around because they don’t want to agree to language,” Nancy said referring to the upcoming Congressional recess.
“Right now we have to find our common ground, work together, to get this done as soon as possible.”
‘I’m not sticking around if they don’t want to agree … we need to find common ground’ … the double speak is strong in this one.
Spoken like a true gangster. This is how the Democrats negotiate, I guess. Either submit to our every demand or we will pout and use the media as a weapon to force you to do so.
Speaker Pelosi says lawmakers should "save it for another day" if they have complaints about the coronavirus response bill: "We don't need 48 hours. We need to just make a decision to help families right now … in an emergency status where we have to get the job done" pic.twitter.com/Ek1QeksXZ6

It does not matter if the bill is good, or if it accomplishes what their aim is, the Dems wrote it, they control the House and the media and if you do not sign it, we will unleash our hack on you. IMHO, She is totally NOT playing politics with the bill … SMH.
I guess this is just like Obamacare … we need to pass the bill to see what is in it.
