Opinion| Mayor de Blasio not only should be ashamed of himself, in my opinion, he has blood on his hands, and plenty of it.

Ever since the ‘Black Lives Matter’ gang has taken over the nation’s city’s, New York has seen a large spike in violent crime which seems to be directly correlated with Democrat/socialist Mayor de Blasio deciding virtue signal his ass off,  bowing to the out of control and lawless mob would be a good look for him.

According to the www1.NYC.GOV:

Murder is up +23.1% (181 v. 147) for the first six months of 2020 when compared to the first six months of 2019.

-There were 205 citywide shooting incidents in June 2020, compared to 89 shooting incidents in June 2019, a 130.3% increase. Year-to-date, through June 30, there is a +46% spike in citywide shooting incidents (528 v. 362).

Burglary increased +118.2% (1,783 v. 817) in June and is up +46.3% (7,234 v. 4,943) year-to-date through June 30.

Sounds like things are going swimmingly for the city, which my friends who live there tell me is ‘going to ****’, and has ‘never been more dangerous.’  The people telling me this are in no way wimps either, nor are they all evil ‘white people.’  From what they are telling me, no one feels safe there, other than the people committing the crimes.

Things have gotten so bad that the President of a New York State Troopers Union wants to pull his officers from the City:

Fox News reported:

‘The president of a union representing New York State troopers said Friday that New York City’s restrictions on police officers are setting the men and women on the force up for failure.

“By raising the bar and almost making it impossible for my members to safely arrest, we’ve had enough. I want them out,” New York State Troopers PBA President Thomas Mungeer told “Fox & Friends.”

Can you blame them?  I would not want to work in an environment where you are asked to intervene with violent criminals with your hands tied behind your back, knowing that the Mayor is just dying to score political points by strangling you up for any perceived misstep you may make, would you?

Another Fox News article described the scene at the home of New York Police Department’s commissioner Shea in the middle of last night:

‘If the spike in shootings isn’t keeping NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea up at night, the protesters probably are.

A group of demonstrators shone lights and blared sirens at the top cop’s Manhattan home at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to video posted to social media.’

Chris Gelardi posted to Twitter a video of the obnoxious antics:

“This is a raid, Commissioner Shea”

#AbolitionPark protesters, citing the NYPD’s 3:40 am razing of their City Hall encampment a week prior, give the police commissioner a 2:30 am wakeup call’

“If we don’t get no justice, then you don’t get no sleep,” the impossible to please  group of agitators, and radical leftist, screamed, while the sound of siren’s blared and super bright spot lights were pointed into the windows of the building.

The ‘peaceful protesters’ saw seven arrests, including one for … throwing a brick at a cop.  Sound like a great group of people, eh?

What raises their kid to think it is ok to throw a brick at anyone, what is this Home Alone 2 ‘Lost in NYC?’  At least in that movie Kevin was trying to defend himself from child predators.

I guess the other difference in the movie is that the criminals are the ones being hit with the bricks, in NYC the criminals are the one’s throwing them.

Anyway, the New York Post was told that the, self described, ‘raid’ only lasted about 15 -20 mintues.

A 28-year-old college kid said that “They had a loudspeaker [and] they said, ‘Wake up wake up,”  “I thought there was a fire but they were just screaming for this building.”

There is a ‘fire’ alright, and it’s festering as I type this.  It’s going to engulf the entire nation if law and order is not restored soon.

I just pray the fire is extinguished before the men and women on the right decide that they have had enough and make up their minds that they are ‘not going to take it anymore,’  if that happens, things are going to get ugly … fast.
