Opinion| . ICYMI – 6/19 – Trump made these statements back at the end of June, about a month ago. We are reposting this article because of its relevance to what is going on right now at the DOJ and who is moving the ball forward on offense and who is getting their butt pushed back into the endzone;
President Trump sat down with NBC’s Chuck Todd for a lengthy interview that aired this morning:
About 16.00 minutes into the interview Todd asks President Trump if he could have one do-over as president what would it be? Trump didn’t hesitate:
Chuck Todd: “If you could have one do over as president, what would it be?”
President Donald Trump: “Well, it would be personnel.”
Todd: “Who is it?”
Trump: “I would say if I had one do over, it would be, I would not have appointed Jeff Sessions to be attorney general. That would be my one”
Todd: “That’s your, in your mind, that’s your worst mistake?”
Trump: “Yeah, that was the biggest mistake.”
Was Todd serious asking President Trump whether the appointment of the feckless Sessions was his biggest mistake? Sessions’ recusal crippled the first two-and-a-half years of the Trump presidency.
Editor’s Note: Just think, in the short time since Sessions has been gone, the Mueller Report has been a total dud, Mueller made a total ass of himself on live before a “rehearsed’ Democrat run show trial, Sessions even recused himself, leaving Rosenstein, wno in my view is a co-conspirator in the failed caopu, in charge.
The new AG told Congress that “spying” did occur, Appointed a special position to investigate further …. Basically everything that Sessions should have been doing while he was too busy trying to bust people for having a little pot.
I know that I’ve been fooled before, but I have a good feeling that AG Barr is the real deal and is going to be the one who finally begins to hold some of these swamp creatures to the flame …. BIGLY
