Ilhan Omar Completely Uncloaks, Defends Iran, Blames Trump For Attack On Oil Ships

Kirsters’ Opinion| Democratic Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar, an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, is now reportedly pointing the finger at Iran’s alleged aggression toward the President’s rejection of Barack Obama’s ridiculous nuclear deal.

According to the Daily Caller, “The agreement was supposed to end Iran’s nuclear program, but critics said verification measures were lax.”

Omar wrote in a Monday tweet, “None of this would be happening if Trump didn’t back out of the Iran nuclear deal. America’s response should be to return to the table and reinstate the Iran nuclear deal. Increasing tensions and threats of war service nobody’s interests.”

The Daily Caller reports:

Both Saudi Arabia and the United States are blaming Iran for explosions on two Japanese oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. However, some commentators are suggesting that Iran had nothing to do with the incident and that it was executed by powers who desire to target Iran as a constant threat to security in the Persian Gulf.

Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan announced Monday that the United States is sending 1,000 troops to the Middle East to counter the alleged Iranian threat.

Iran issued a warning on Monday that they had the ability to ignore the nuclear deal from 2015, “by surpassing the stocks of enriched uranium it is allowed to possess under the agreement,” according to the Daily Caller.

Republicans were openly critical of the Obama-era deal.

Ever since National Security Advisor John Bolton revealed that the United States would be introducing an aircraft carrier strike group/bomber task forces after “a number of troubling and escalatory indications and warnings,” tensions have been on the rise.

According to the Daily Caller, “That statement reportedly provoked Iran to prepare to attack American forces before the rogue state backed down. After Bolton announced the movement of American military resources, the commander of U.S. Central Command later said that it was just a routine deployment.”

Fox News reports:

Critics slammed Omar for “appeasing the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.”

Iran’s announcement raised pressure on Europeans trying to save the accord a year after the U.S. withdrawal.

President Hassan Rouhani already has warned Europe that a new deal needs to be in place by July 7 or the Islamic Republic would increase its enrichment of uranium.

Rouhani, greeting France’s new ambassador to Tehran on Monday, similarly warned that time was running out on the deal.

“The current situation is very critical and France and the other parties to the (deal) still have a very limited opportunity to play their historic role for saving the deal,” Rouhani said, according to his website.
