During her time on the air, Sanders explained that the possibility of moving undocumented aliens to sanctuary cities is currently an “option on the table.”
The White House Press Secretary stated, “This is an option on the table. I mean, we talked about a number of different things over the last two years that we’d love to see happen. Certainly, it isn’t our first choice. Ideally, we wouldn’t have been dealing with the massive influx of illegal immigrants coming across the border. The crisis that we have a national security and humanitarian crisis if Democrats would step up and help the penalty fix the laws. This could all go away. That would be the best thing for the country and the best way to solve this crisis.”
She went on, “We’re looking to see if there are options that make it possible and doing it in a full and thorough and extensive review. The president likes the idea and Democrats have said they want these individuals in their communities. Let’s see if it works, and everybody gets a win out of it. Again, this isn’t the ideal situation. The ideal solution is real simple for Congress particularly Democrats in Congress to sit down with the president, do their jobs and help us stop this awful crisis that’s taking place at our border.”
On Saturday, President Trump tweeted about the plan to move illegal aliens to sanctuary cities. He explained that the federal government “has the absolute legal right” to move illegal immigrants to “sanctuary cities” after being legally released from being detained.
Just out: The USA has the absolute legal right to have apprehended illegal immigrants transferred to Sanctuary Cities. We hereby demand that they be taken care of at the highest level, especially by the State of California, which is well known or its poor management & high taxes!

ABC News reports:
The Washington Post broke the story about the plan on Thursday, which ABC News later confirmed, reporting it had been considered twice in the past six months.
However, while a White House official had told ABC News that the plan “was just a suggestion that was floated and rejected,” the president contradicted that on Friday, tweeting that there was in fact a plan still being considered to transfer undocumented immigrants to “sanctuary cities.”
“The Radical Left always seems to have an Open Borders, Open Arms policy – so this should make them very happy!” he tweeted, later in the day singling out California at an event discussing 5G technology. “They’re always saying they have open arms, let’s see if they have open arms.”
