OPINION| Democrat Caught Engaging In Witness Tampering & Extortion Tactics? U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) Called For a Boycott of Sondland Hotel Chain

OPINION| Lawrence David| Ambassador Gordon Sondland’s opening statement at today’s impeachment inquisition didn’t square with his answers to questions from Republicans during the hours-long hearing.

Sondland’s statement gave Adam Schiff and the American propaganda media the ammunition they wanted to claim that they were now on the road to impeachment.

If Schiff had even a shred of decency in him he’d have waited for Sondland’s testimony but he didn’t.  Keep in mind the party of deceit, lies, and tyranny chose him to lead the coup against President Trump and his supporters.

Amb. Sondland spent the entirety of his deposition walking back or completely undermining his opening remarks in my view.  It doesn’t matter. The headlines are already dominating the news.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) wanted to know why Amb. Sondland omitted important testimony from his opening statement.

Rep. Jordan: You said to the President of the United States, what do you want from Ukraine?  The president said I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. I want Zelenskyy to do the right thing.  I want him to do what he ran on.

On what did he rum Ambassador Sondland?

Ambassador Sondland: Transparency.

Rep. Jordan: Transparency and dealing with corruption, right?

Ambassador Sondland: That’s right.

Rep. Jordan: Why didn’t you put that in your opening statement?  I think you said you couldn’t fit it in. Is that right?

Ambassador Sondland: It wasn’t purposeful, trust me.

Rep. Jordan: It wasn’t purposeful?  You couldn’t fit it in a 23-page opener.  The most important statement about the subject matter at hand?  The President of the United States in a direct conversation with you?

Let me read it one more time.  What do you want from Ukraine, Mr. President?  ‘I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo.  I want no quid pro quo. I want this new guy, his party just took over, I want Zelenskyy to do the right thing.

I want him to do what he ran on which is to deal with corruption.

And you can’t find time to fit that into a 23-page opening statement?

We offer this possible explanation:

(OPB) UPDATE (Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 a.m. PT) —Oregon Democratic U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer called for a boycott Wednesday of all hotels owned and operated by Gordon Sondland, who is wrapped up in the Ukraine controversy surrounding President Donald Trump.

This is the definition of witness tampering and extortion.

And, for the record there is no Ukraine controversy, just the one the media has allowed Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff to manufacture for their own tyrannical purposes.
