Opinion| Lawrence David| During this morning’s “Schiff show” starring Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, President Trump sent two tweets about Yovanovitch’s track record that were really quite mild.
The president avoided any mention of Yovanovitch’s involvement when the State Department’s colluded with Ukraine to develop damaging information against candidate Trump and his associates, while promoting Hillary Clinton’s candidacy.
President Trump said nothing about Alexandra Chalupa.
And, he made no reference to Yovanovitch’s requests to the Obama administration to conduct surveillance on pro-Trump journalists.
(Judicial Watch) Prior to being recalled as ambassador to Ukraine in the spring Yovanovitch reportedly created a list of individuals who were to be monitored via social media and other means. Ukraine embassy staff made the request to the Washington D.C. headquarters office of the department’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.
Specifically former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, initiated a request for State Dept. officials to conduct surveillance on: Jack Posobiec, Donald Trump Jr., Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Michael McFaul (Obama’s ambassador to Russia), Dan Bongino, Ryan Saavedra, Rudy Giuliani, Sebastian Gorka, John Solomon, Lou Dobbs, Pamella Geller and Sara Carter. – CTH accuses.
President Trump had just witnessed what we all did, Adam “Lavrentiy Beria” Schiff shutting down any line of Republican questioning that was damaging to the impeachment narrative he is intent on creating.
Adam Schiff refuses to recognize @EliseStefanik point of order.

Rather than remain silent, President Trump responded with those comparatively mild tweets in his own defense.
This is where Obama’s former CIA Director John Brennan, the man who is almost certain to be charged with orchestrating the Russia hoax…
… melted down and responded to President Trump’s tweet.
Your comments reflect the despicable nature of your character, hate & fear of our foreign service officers & desperation to protect your corrupt & criminal acts. Your efforts to intimidate will fail. May your downfall be swift, your penalty onerous, & your legacy condemned by all https://t.co/ks9MJpfi6r

With each passing day, Brennan sounds more and more like a man whose time on the gallows is approaching.
