Opinion| Lawrence David| In 1975, Ronald Reagan sat down with 60 Minutes where he warned Americans of this eventuality:
“If fascism ever comes to America, it will come in the name of liberalism.”
Ten years later, in 1985, former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov explained the 4 steps used to transform the thinking and behavior of an entire population.
The 4 basic steps to socially engineering entire generations into thinking and behaving the way those in power want them to:
Now consider the amazing jobs report and Speaker Pelosi’s Orwellian response.
(CNBC) …Central bank leaders have largely praised the state of the U.S. economy, particularly compared with its global peers….
… “The October jobs report is unambiguously positive for the US economic outlook,” said Citigroup economist Andrew Hollenhorst. “Above-consensus hiring in October, together with upward revisions to prior months, is consistent with our view that job growth, while clearly slower in 2019 than in 2018, will maintain a pace of 130-150K per month. Wage growth remaining at 3.0% should further support incomes and consumption-led growth”…
… The labor force expanded by 325,000 to 164.4 million and the labor force participation rate edged higher to 63.3%. Those counted as not in the labor force declined by 118,000 to nearly 95.5 million.
Additionally, the year-over-year wage growth is at +3.0 percent, which is significantly higher than inflation. That means the buying power of the average Joe is up after having shrunk during the Obama years.
So why, against the reality of this good news did House Speaker Nancy Pelosi take to the microphones and deliver this statement following the release of the overwhelmingly good economic news:
“The October jobs report offers further evidence that the Republicans’ disastrous special interest agenda is hollowing out the middle class while enriching the wealthy and well-connected. Clearly, the GOP Tax Scam has left our country with nothing but broken promises and an underperforming economy.”
No, she hasn’t lost her senses, though many do argue that. She’s talking directly to those who have been brainwashed by Democrat/Mainstream Media Marxist propaganda.
People who have been brainwashed into believing that open borders and sanctuary cities make us safer and more prosperous. That men and women can redefine their sex as many times as they find convenient… and that we must respect that lunacy.
People who believe that higher taxes would somehow benefit them. People who believe that confiscatory taxes on the wealthy won’t lead to the expatriation of wealth and investment even though they lived through exactly that under Obama.
People who believe that exporting our jobs that result in more Americans in need of public assistance is a good thing.
People who won’t take the time to read an eight-page transcript and instead find comfort in believing that a phone call, regardless of what was discussed on that call, is grounds for removing the President of the United States.
Bezmenov: Eighty-five percent is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion or active measures in the language of the KGB. Or, psychological warfare.
What it basically means is to change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interests of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.
Why did Pelosi make that statement? Because Pelosi knows that whatever she says her brainwashed followers will embrace it as a means to justify their own lack of success and/or initiative… their own demoralized condition.

Allow me to take the liberty of paraphrasing Patrick Henry:
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of President Trump
