OPINION| Mark Sidney| Remember this? … Remember there is nothing they won’t do to get back the power to maintain, and cover up their rackets.
We have been specuating for sometime now that Hillary Rodham Clinton is planning on mounting another attempt to becomes the first female President of The United States. If she manages to pull this off … what would that make Bill … First …nevermind, I’ll let you have fun with that one?
If you recall, Civil Rights legend and Martin Luther King Jr.’s friend, Democratic Representative Elijah Cummings passed away last week.
I know most of the readers of this blog are likely not fans of Mr. Cummings, but he is no longer a threat to our liberties so I think we should remember the good things he did, and this man did plenty of good back in the day.
President Trump seems to have taken the same approach in this Tweet he sent out upon learning of the Democratic Congressman’s passing:
My warmest condolences to the family and many friends of Congressman Elijah Cummings. I got to see first hand the strength, passion and wisdom of this highly respected political leader. His work and voice on so many fronts will be very hard, if not impossible, to replace!

President Trump took a lot of heat from both sides for making this statement, but I think he did the right thing. If we are going to unite this nation we can not besmirch the dead, at least not while their body is still warm.
Fast forward to today. So, Hillary Clinton basically gave, what she turned into a keynote speech, almost a campaign speech, in my view, while standing atop of Mr. Cummings ‘mortal coil.’
I thought this was in such poor taste, even for HRC. As The Gateway Pundit pointed out, at least Hilary refrained from being so manipulative and fake as to slip into her southern accent. Remember this?:
Hillary could not help herself, while giving a freaking eulogy, the megalomaniacle, would be, has been, tyrant, had to take a shot at the First Lady, essentially calling her a “Jezebel”and President Trump a tyrannical King.
The woman who lost, what we are beginning to learn, or I believe we are going to learn, was in essence, a rigged election, … to a ‘reality TV star,’ had the audacity to invoke the Bible when slinging dirt … DURING A EULOGY.
Here are here exact words, follow by the clip of her saying them. The crowd’s reaction was particularly sad, in my view.
“Like that Old Testament prophet, he stood against corrupt leadership of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel,” Hillary said referring to Elijah, the prophet in Israel who confronted Ahab and his wife Jezebel.
.@HillaryClinton on Rep. Elijah Cummings: "Like that Old Testament prophet, he stood against corrupt leadership of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel."

Wikipedia describes King Ahab as follows:
“Ahab was the seventh king of Israel since Jeroboam I, the son and successor of Omri, and the husband of Jezebel of Sidon, according to the Hebrew Scriptures. The Hebrew Bible presents Ahab as a wicked king, particularly for condoning Jezebel’s influence on religious policies and his principal role behind Naboth’s arbitrary execution.”
The irony is not lost on me. How many people with ties to the Clintons have died prematurely? No, they have never been convicted of anything, and correlation is not causation, and even if there is no there, there, as they say, its still ironic considering this clip:
“This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!” The loser of the 2016 Election said.
Hillary Clinton begins her eulogy of Rep. Elijah Cummings: "This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it—because this is the day for the home going celebration of a great man, a moral leader, and a friend." https://t.co/87H50yox0v pic.twitter.com/kr9bl9Cl5F

Predictably, the tone death dinosaur media thought this was great.
Hillary Clinton just compared Donald and Melania Trump to King Ahab and Queen Jezebel. #ouch

Hillary Clinton, speaking at Elijah Cummings' funeral, nods at current impeachment inquiry: He was "begging American people to pay attention to what is going on…if you want there to be a democracy for your children…we have to guard this moment, this is our watch."

HUGE applause when Hillary Clinton made this theological zinger at Elijah Cummings' funeral: "It is no coincidence that Elijah shared a name with an Old Testament prophet … Like that Old Testament prophet he stood against the corrupt leadership of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel."

Remember, it is only when you are over the target that you begin getting the flack.
I’m not ready to wager anything, but I think the odds that HRC runs are getting better each day.
Regardless of whether or not Hillary runs, I think that the person who will eventually end up being the Democratic nominee, to lose to President Trump has yet to reveal themselves.
But hey, as I always say, that’s just, like, my opinion, man.
