OPINION| Sidney, Mark – It would not be a day in America without the Democrats pulling the race card and frankly- it’s getting old. The left has called everyone who does not agree with them racist, fascist, xenophilic or some other derogatory accusation, void of evidence, It’s become similar to Godwin’s Law which, according to Wikipedia, states that:
“Godwin’s law is an internet adage asserting that “As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Hitler approaches 1″; that is, if an online discussion goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Adolf Hitler or his deeds.”
Just replace Hitler with racist and you have Mark’s law: “The more you debate a Leftist, regardless of topic, the more likely you will be called a racist and/or fascist scum.” Don’t google Mark’s law because I just made it up, right here, right now.
Again, this all goes back to PROJECTION. Mrs. Tlaib is no stranger to controversy herself.
Do you recall when she said thinking about an aspect of the Holocaust gave her a warm fuzzy feeling? In fairness, she said she got a warm fuzzy feeling about how ‘her people” the Palestinians “lost their land and their lives … to create a safe haven for Jews.” I’m not sure that is exactly how it went down, but whatever. Snopes has the full quote:
Klaidman: “Congresswoman, you created something of a stir by coming out in favor of a one-state solution in Israel and Palestine, and I think you may be the only Democrat who’s publicly supported a one-state solution. So what is your vision for a one-state solution that meets both Palestinian and Israeli, Jewish national aspirations?”
Tlaib: “Absolutely, and let me tell you — I mean for me, I think two weeks ago or so, we celebrated, or took a moment or so, I think, in our country, to remember the Holocaust. And there’s, you know, there’s a kind of a calming feeling, I always tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust and the tragedy of the Holocaust, in the fact that it was my ancestors, Palestinians, who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, human dignity, their existence in many ways has been wiped out … was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post [sic] the Holocaust, post [the] tragedy and horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time.
“And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that … in many ways. But they did it in a way that took their human dignity away … and it was forced on them. So when I think about a one-state [solution], I think about the fact that — why couldn’t we do it in a better way? Where — and I don’t want people to do it in the name of Judaism, just like I don’t want people to use Islam in that way — it has to be done in a way of values around equality and around the fact that you shouldn’t oppress others so you can feel free and safe. Why can’t we all be free and safe together?”
I will leave it to you to figure out what you think she meant.
Anyway, as you can tell, I am not a big fan on the Congresswoman. I think she judges people based on their religion, viewpoint and identity, and that’s just not cool. She also likes to hide behind her sex, religion and anything else she can to try and avoid the consequences of her words and actions.
Here’s why the woman is revenant again today:
Tlaib, during a recent tour of a Detroit Police facility, went on a full blown tyrade when she essentially accused everyone who isn’t black of being a racist. I know what you are thinking “yeah right,” as was I, … until I saw the video which is embedded below.
Tlaib had the gall to say, and in fairness to everyone at the facility, they seemed stunned that she had the nerve to say such a vile thing, that only black people should be hired for a new facial recognition software and technology program because everyone else thinks that all black people look alike…
Just watch the man on the left, who is wearing glasses, who appears to be a black man, his reaction is great. He handled it perfectly, explaining that what Tlaib said is not right and that people should be hired regardless of race, gender or viewpoint. As usual, kudos to the cops, shame on the Congresswoman.
Rashida even had the terrible judgement to suggest that the House of Representatives is racist because sometimes people call rep. Cumminigs by the wrong name.
Lady, you’re not making the compelling case you think you are making. Your statement, in and of itself, was, in my view, racist AF. Way more racist than mixing up someones name and calling them by the name of another accomplished individual.
Just imagine for a second if Trump said that only white people, or only Asian people, should be hired for a job because everyone else is racist and thinks Asians look alike.
I can see the look on the Dems faces now ….
