Lindsey Graham Completely Exposes Bern-Out Sanders, Invites Him To Tell the People of South Carolina Why the Charleston Church Shooter Should Be Allowed to Vote

Kirsters Baish| Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders recently made a shocking statement, insisting that convicted mass murderers should be allowed to cast their votes from prison.

Bernie Sanders dug his heels into his belief that convicted felons should have the right to vote during CNN Town Hall on Monday. Sanders shocked both sides of the isle when he was asked if sex offenders or even the Boston Marathon bombing convicts should have the right to vote and he answered, “yes”.

Sanders qualified his answer by stating that even terrible people should be able to vote because when you start to chip away at who is and isn’t allowed to vote, you start going down “a slippery slope.”

Lindsey Graham has been finding his voice lately and hasn’t been taking any nonsense from anyone. He called out Sanders on his stance on felons voting recently.

Well, Republican South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham isn’t having any of Sanders’ nonsense, and he has called for the Democratic presidential hopeful to visit South Carolina and explain why the Charleston Church shooter, Dylann Roof, should be allowed to vote.

Roof was convicted of killing nine people in a South Carolina church. He was sentenced in 2017 to nine consecutive life terms after he plead guilty to the 2015 massacre.

On Tuesday, Senator Graham took to social media to condemn Sanders for his Monday night comment during a town hall event. He invited Sanders to come to South Carolina and defend his comments.

“Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse…. @BernieSanders supports allowing rapists, murderers, and terrorists – like the Boston bomber and Dylan Roof, the individual who massacred 9 church-goers in Charleston, to vote from prison.”

“I look forward to hearing his explanation — in South Carolina — why Dylan (sic) Roof should be allowed to vote in the upcoming elections.”

The Daily Caller reports:

Sanders, during a CNN town hall on Monday, argued that felons should not just regain the right to vote once they have been released from prison, but should retain it while they are still serving their time.
